Stars Song Lyrics Pledge

Wow what an awesome idea and a fantastic Christmas present (for myself!). If I had the bread, I would have been all in for the guitar package but as it is I'm super psyched for the Hand-Written Song Lyrics pledge. I had to really think long and hard as to which song to get but it really came down to two. In the end I went with the Comeback but Tonight was a close runner up with My Radio a distant third.

So I'm curious if you made a pledge, what song did you pick and even if you didn't make one, what song would you have picked?

I ended up getting one. I spent like 2 hours in a toss-up between Theme From The Stars and Soft Revolution. I ended up with Theme From The Stars because it seemed more encapsulating of the band's history as a whole. Also I'm hoping if they write it out they'll get inspired to add it to the setlist maybeeeeeee?

Another good choice. I did consider that one too. The lyrics are wonderful and it reads like a poem. I went with Comeback because it's kind of a personal anthem for me but there's still time left to change my decision. There's just too many choices which is a testament to the band. Going Going Gone is another consideration cause it was the 1st song I heard from them and All The Umbrellas would be my wedding song if I should ever get married and then there's Elevator and Riot....Too many choice indeed. I may have to think on this some more....

I pretty much freaked out when I saw that this was an option. Gerard and I actually had a lengthy facebook chat over which song to get haha. I decided to go with The Aspidistra Flies because it whenever I hear it, I am instantly brought to my travels in London. Can't wait until these get sent out!

They were sold out by the time I got there. Wah. I would have gotten A Thread Cut With A Carving Knife, or Barricade, maybe even Gangster's Apprentice just for funsies.

I settled for a signed LP and a postcard. I gave them a little extra too. I like the idea of this pledge thing, I know I'd be crushed if my favorite band couldn't afford to tour where I live.
