Stars in Toronto at Yonge-Dundas

This show was so beautiful. I fucking loved Land of Talk and then Stars completely made the night. This was my first real-ish Stars concert.. I saw them last summer in HMV for that tiny set and the signing, but this was even better. I was front row, dead centre. When Torq came into the audience during Take Me To The Riot he was falling on my friend and I towards the end haha
During the soundcheck Amy came down to the barrier and said hello to us and showed us her adorable baby :)

I loved this show and found although not polished, it was filled with raw emotion. The set list was a beauty touching on both the old and the new. I was there for the sound check and stayed on the rail for the following 5 hrs. Worth every minute. My pictures are up on flickr and I'm also in the process of uploading HD videos. (at half a gig each, they are taking hours to get up but I have loved playing them back and think fans will too).

Thanks so much for the band for giving us one heck of a show. The sound in Dundas Square can be a mess with echos of buildings and such but there where points of magic that night. It was my fourth time seeing them and is up there with the Hillside 2005 gig.

I have a few photos I will post later. Overall lovely night. My rose is currently drying upside down in the dining room. It is going to look so nice beside my box set.

Dundas Sq. show was almost as powerful as Massey Hall. They really looked like they appreciated the crowd love. And I finally caught a rose. During Elevator Love Letter no less.

And then there was the little secret show on Saturday.
What a special show, I'm so thankful to have gotten in.
